This entire outfit is the hottest fashion trend this season, but not everyone has the guts to wear this outfit. I am a strong believer of “No guts, no glory”, because for me what defines a real woman is her attitude and confidence. I know I was not born with a very pretty face, a very nice skin or a very sexy body, but it is not a hindrance for me not to have an overflowing confidence. I am very particular with style, poise and composure. I am a prim and proper young lady that knows how to behave gracefully. It is self taught. I did not undergo training for proper manner and behavior; I just look at how people behave socially and how well they carry themselves. I’ve seen a lot of girls who looks very lovely with their outfit, but is acting like they are at the market with loud voices and improper body postures, laughs the loudest and uses vulgar words. I’ve also seen girls with lovely outfit, but they are too shy and cannot interact with other people, they are very self conscious and they usually sit at the corner. They become labelled as “wallflowers”. I would rather be the person who doesn’t dress well or someone mismatched, but is very sociable and crowd loving. Someone who wears the baggiest clothes but still very confident and natural. You will be really blessed if you have both. This is always possible for everyone because personality and confidence can be learned. It is not like a permanent physical disability that once you have it, you do not have a choice but to accept it. Embrace your individuality with love and optimism.

Enough for confidence boosting tete-a-tete (oh well, I just love women empowerment), let us see what I have for today. My top is a corset/bustier and my skirt is a “short front, long back skirt” (too long for an outfit description). Since my skirt is red orange, I paired it with something light-colored, but feminine for a top. Balance is always the main key. Never under or overdo an outfit. I connected both with a nice red belt and red heels to complete the look. But remember to always accessorize. Bustier is a sexy-plunging top, and if you do not have a voluptuous front to show, better wear a bib necklace to divert people’s attention.

I am a fanatic of lace. I’ve always loved lace coz it feels good on the skin and it adds style to whatever outfit that you wear. I know some people don’t like lace, and it’s not necessary to wear all lace anyway. Just like my outfit today, a Blue Denim dress. People think that denim is already out of style, that people who wear denim are just the people from 80’s and 90’s, but guess what? I’ve rocked this outfit with a little touch of lace. Since lace is very hot this season, pairing it with denim is like meeting 19th century to the 20th century.

I dislike denim before, I only wear them if it’s a jeans, but not as a jacket, mini skirt or a dress. I’ve always loved cool and laid back fashion with a touch of elegance. It was my friend who suggested for me to buy this dress, I was reluctant at first, but when I put it on, I realized that it is a stretchable denim. It is body hugging and emphasizes my curves. I gave it a shot since I always love to try something new. Impulsive it is, but regrets has now locked itself at the back door!

I’ve always had a fascination of Royal hats: their color, style, and uniqueness. When I watched the telecast of the Royal wedding of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton, it was there that I saw all kinds of hats. Royal wedding was like a fashion gathering for all elite people. They are wearing the most expensive-branded clothes, but the thing that stirred most gossip are the hats that the guests are wearing. Here are the hats that caught my attention.

I also included the photo of Princess Ameerah of Saudi Arabia because I didn’t just liked the hat of the Princess but also her dress.

And here comes my own version of Royal madness:

My hat from Beads and Pearls matches my dress. Well, of course they should match or I will not fit to the Royal brigade. Lol. I like the color and the style as well as the feather at the center. I don’t want to wear the huge hats because I only want to put a twist and style to my dress. This dress is now my new favorite. I am into classic and minimal style, and this dress fits the criteria of the style that I wanted to portray. This is a very simple dress. If you will wear this dress without any accessory, it will just be like all other dresses, plain and simple. I guess that is what I always wanted for a dress, because if your dress is simple, you still have a chance to work your magic on accessorizing. And I think that is what I am always good at. I have been an accessory addict from the day that I knew fashion. I love experimenting and I am not afraid of showing what the outcome would be. I guess, we just need to unleash our hidden femme fearless personality with a lot of confidence to rock our style. Do the things that make you happy, style the fashion that you wish to represent because at the end of the day, it is your opinion that matters because you know that you felt good on carrying your style.
