My fashion standpoint already rooted and I can no longer imagine life if I am not what I am today. Before I go to sleep I prepare the outfit that I am going to wear the next day, and if it is my day off, I will also be preparing my clothes for the next 5 days at work. It is like a routine already because I just can’t go to bed not prepared for the following day. I’ve found questions from a magazine that I would love to answer because as a blogger I have a say about fashion.
What sparked your interest in fashion?
When I was young, my aunts were on their 20’s and they wear beautiful clothes that I envy so much. I said to myself that when I grow up I wanted to look as fashionable as them. When they are not around I would open their closet and wear their clothes, I would use their make up and apply it to my face. Just by looking at them I learned to love fashion so much that I become one.
Would you describe yourself as shoe or bag-lover?
I am a shoe lover. I own more than 20 high heels of different styles and different colors.
What about jewelry and accessories?
Definitely! I love dangling chandelier earrings, huge statement necklaces and rings. I love Franck Herval, Forever 21 and Parfois accessories.
Who are your favorite local and international designers? Why?
My favorite local designer is Cary Santiago. He is very keen on details and clean cut silhouettes. And my favorite international designer is Monique Lhuillier. She can design gown of different lace patterns that would look feminine and sophisticated.
Who are your style icons?
Kate Middleton, Taylor Swift, Audrey Hepburn, Tricia Gosingtian and Verniece Enciso.
What is your opinion on today’s fashion?
Today’s fashion is bold and experimental. Young people are showing too much skin since cropped top and high waist short are the hottest trends and statement accessory piece is a must wear.
If you are a style staple, what would you be?
A long floral dress.
