Today, my alter ego is asking me to dress like the Duchess of Cambridge. All girls love dressing up and quite the most challenging is dressing like a royal because it means choosing garments in clean silhouette and classic cuts. I’ve always been a fan of Kate Middleton, of how she carry herself and rock those beautiful outfit she’s wearing. Since it’s summertime, I didn’t have a hard time looking for floppy hats like this one, which is made of wool when I was strolling at SM Department store in SM Seaside. Its sophistication made its way to my perfect accessory in channelling the impeccable royal in muggle world outfit.

For a not so curvy girl like me, I reach for peplum top and dresses. I love this style because it creates an illusion of a curvy body. If you’ve noticed, I don’t wear body con dresses because of body shape issues. I guess this is what all the girls need to bear in mind when it comes to fashion and dressing up; that not all trends are wearable just because it is the hottest style even if it does not flatter your body. That is one of the reason why I do not follow certain trends.

When wearing a peplum top, it is the best time to wear a body con skirt. It is also ideal to hide unwanted flabs and I have that because I don’t exercise. You can also pair it with shorts as long as it compliments the top. Since this is a corporate dressing, I chose this skirt which is a great find when I went to F&F for sale shopping.

I hope I shed some light in all of you. Have a great day lovely ladies!

If you have noticed lately, I got really obsessed with floppy, floral and different types of hat as well as head pieces. I have collections of hats and head dresses, but I just stored them for so long since it was just lately that I started using them on my blog.

This head dress that I am wearing is a great find from H&M. I’ve been looking for this type of head dress for so long because I am a fan of Greek mythology goddesses dressing. If only this dress is a bit flowy, I would really be able to achieve the Athena or Aphrodite look that I am obsessing about. Fictional alter-egos are my thing lately, so we’ll see what alter-ego am I gonna copy next time.
