I have been accustomed to wearing dresses lately and this time I preferred to wear shorts and a sequined top for a change. This top was given to me by my dear lovely sister Bhel as a birthday present on my 22nd birthday. I was totally appalled by my sister’s choice. Well, because I didn‘t know that she could chose a top that I would love.

Growing up with an only sister with a very opposite taste in fashion is challenging. She used to wear t-shirt and jeans, while I loved dresses and skirts. She loved to wear sneakers and slippers, while I loved heels and wedges. Because of these, I don’t want her to buy me clothes as I always end up disappointed with the choice of clothes that she chooses for me. Living under the same roof for more than 20 years, made us open minded of each others taste in clothing and style. If she sees something in the store that she thinks I would love, she would say “my sister would love this”, and I say the same thing if I find something for her. We do not borrow clothes like the usual sisters do, because we do not fancy the same style. But despite that, we respect each others preference. We may not be in the same wavelength when it comes to fashion, but we know deep in our hearts that we love each other deeply beyond the S-I-S-T-E-R-S word can define.

This blog is dedicated to you sister. Please take care wherever you are. I miss you and I love you from the bottom of my heart.
